This has been a very entertaining series and we expect more of the same this evening when Milwaukee and Boston get together at TD Garden for Game 5.
3 of the 4 games in this series have stayed beneath 204 points and the only high scoring game was Game 4 when a 71-point 4th quarter got the game to 224.
Both teams are shooting around 41% from the field for the series and both teams have not shot well from 3 with Milwaukee being a putrid 27%. Boston is better at 36% from 3 but that still is not great.
We expect tonight to be a defensive game. The side might be tough to call, however, we expect another game that will not exceed 204 points as both teams are just too good on defense. The Celtics have the defensive player of the year on their team and the Bucks have a former defensive player of the year on theirs.
This will be a tightly contested game where it is tough to get anything easy in terms of open looks. Both teams are closing out on 3’s very well and neither team has really turned it over badly which negates transition points and easy baskets being scored.
Milwaukee will have to play really well defensively tonight on the road and they are a team that is more than capable of doing that as they showed in Game 1 when they only allowed 89 points.
This total opened at 214.5 and already is down to 213.5 at the time this article will have been published to the site. Which was around 11:30 am est.
It was too high to start and the under presents tremendous value as the only way we see this game getting past this price is if the game goes into overtime and if that happens, we chalk it up to a bad break.
Look for a score in the high 190’s or low 200’s tonight.
