Cardinals vs. 49ers Key Stats
Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals are not expected to be that much of a threat this season but are tied for 12th with 24 points per game and 18th with 329.7 total yards per game. A huge reason has been the ability to run the football as they are sixth in the sport with 156.3 rushing yards per game. Running back James Conner has been has been doing very well as he has 51 carries for 266 yards (5.2 yards per attempt) with two rushing touchdowns while also having seven catches for 26 yards (3.7 yards per reception). With quarterback Joshua Dobbs doing enough as he has two touchdown passes and zero interceptions so far. If they can continue to move the chains on third down, they will be in a great position to continue winning games.
The defense for Arizona has been doing a decent job as they are 16th with 22.3 points given up and 26th in the NFL with 367.7 total yards per game. They are doing a good job at applying pressure as they have recorded 11 sacks, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Linebacker Dennis Gardeck has been dominating as he has three sacks, four tackles for loss and a forced fumble. They need to improve on forcing special teams on the field as teams are 20-of-40 on third down tries so that will be a huge plus to a young team going forward to gain some more confidence.

CMC has 60 rushes for 353 yards (5.9 yards per attempt) with three rushing touchdowns while having 11 receptions for 70 yards (6.4 yards per catch). This offense has the ability to be the best in football and has an incredible amount of talent on this side of the ball.
Their defense has also been nothing short of phenomenal as they are fifth in the NFL giving up 14 points on 258.3 total yards per game, which is third in the sport. They have recorded eight sacks and are tied with the Cowboys for second with five total interceptions.
