The Cowboys are second in the NFC East with a 3-1 record so far and are coming off a massive 38-3 home win over the New England Patriots last week. The 49ers are leading the NFC West with a perfect 4-0 record and are coming off a 35-16 home win against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday.

Linebacker Micah Parsons has been playing well as the leader of the defense as he has recorded four sacks, six tackles for loss, a pass deflection, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. 

San Francisco 49ers 

The offense for the 49ers has been clicking on all cylinders as well as they are ranked third in football with 31.3 points per game while being ninth in passing yards (245) and third in rushing yards (153). Quarterback Brock Purdy continues to play excellent football as he has completed 81-of-112 (72.3 percent) of his passes for 1,019 yards with five touchdowns and zero interceptions. Running back Christian McCaffrey has been dominating as a potential MVP candidate as well with 80 carries for 459 yards (5.7 yards per rush) with six rushing touchdowns while tacking on 18 receptions for 141 yards (7.8 yards per catch) and a receiving touchdown. 

Their defense has been doing extremely well as they are tied for third in the league with 14.5 points per game allowed. Opponents are averaging 235.3 passing yards and 66 rushing yards against them per game this year. Despite the talent, statistically they are not dominant as they have nine total sacks, 14 pass deflections and five interceptions as a team. San Francisco needs to do better than giving up 41.07 percent conversions on third downs against them to continue thriving.
