Chicago at Milwaukee 9:30 PM EST
Line: Milwaukee -10
Total: 225.5

Game 2 is tonight at Milwaukee with the Bucks holding a 1-0 series lead after winning, but not covering, Game 1 against Chicago on Sunday night. No adjustment in the line as Milwaukee was -10 / -10.5 in Game 1 and they remain that price today however we have seen an adjustment in the total, which is 225.5 for Game 2, down from 230 a few nights ago.

We’ll take a look at that here. Game 1 was extremely low scoring, by the standards of the NBA today as the final score was 93-86 (179 points). That was a throw-back 80’s or 90’s playoff game.

That is an insane 51 points below what the total was posted at. Is that going to happen again tonight? Probably night. But just like we told you last night regarding Atlanta who we expected to play a better game, and still not cover, which was accurate, we feel this will be a higher scoring game that will still stay beneath the posted number.

Chicago was 13th in offensive efficiency this past regular season but they averaged 5 less points per game on the road then they did at home. For those wondering, they averaged 109 points per game on the road. This season, with Game 1 included, they have played 3 games at Milwaukee. They have not scored above 98 points in any of those 3 games, and they have an average of 91.3 points per game at Milwaukee. That is 18 points below what they averaged on the road this season and 23 points below what they averaged at home.

Chicago is also 0-5 vs the Bucks overall this season. They have shot 40.8% from the field against Milwaukee (down from 47.8% this season overall). They have shot a putrid 28.5% from three-point range against Milwaukee (down from 36.9% this season overall).

All of the Bulls offensive numbers are down considerably vs this team however, they do play good defense vs the Bucks for the most part and with this being a playoff game, we expect both teams to give greater effort on that end of the floor.

Here’s one more thing about this game. In the last 12 home playoff games for the Bucks, dating back to last season, 8 games have stayed below what this number is set at tonight. Again, expect a better offensive game than what we saw in Game 1 but expect another under here as we do not have this game getting above 212 points
