Auburn Vs. Alabama Betting Odds Breakdown

In one of the best rivalries in all of college football, Auburn and Alabama will meet up on November 26th.

Alabama is coming into this game as the favorite at -24, and the over/under is sitting at 50.5 points.

Auburn Preview

Auburn fell just short of beating Alabama last year, and they’re going to try to get the job done this time around.

Auburn is sitting at 5-6 on the season, and they have not played well against ranked teams. Out of the four ranked teams they have played, they have let up at least 40 points. And based off of that, you can tell that their defense really starts to falter when they play teams that are simply just better than them. And even when they only held LSU to 21 points, their offense was not able to get the job done over them, with their quarterbacks throwing two interceptions. When playing against teams that are not ranked, they play well, but their flaws get exposed badly when they play a team that is ranked.

Even though they’ve had a bit of a rough season, Auburn still had a pretty good game their last time out against Western Kentucky. Probably their highlight in that game was the performance from running back Cartavious Bigsby, who had 110 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. He played very well in that game, and it obviously won’t be as easy for him to get the ball moving as well against Alabama. But, he could give Auburn a chance to win if he can continue to play well.

Alabama Preview

Alabama is coming into this game at 9-2, and they’ll be trying to end their season with a win over Auburn.

This season, Alabama feels like a team that can put up a good fight against any team. Their only losses this season were against Tennessee and LSU, which were both very close games. The last game Alabama played was against Austin Peay, and they were able to get a dominant win, with them getting the win by the score of 34-0. Now obviously, Auburn is going to be a much more interesting matchup for Alabama, and it’s difficult to guess how well Alabama will play based on their game against Austin Peay.

Even though they played an unranked team, Alabama still played well. Bryce Young showed off why he was the Heisman Trophy winner last year, and everyone else did their part. And based on the score, you can tell that their defense stepped up, with them not letting up a single point throughout the entire game. Just overall, Alabama is just a really good team that can give anyone a challenge.

Winner Prediction: Alabama -24

Once again, Alabama should be able to get the win over Auburn this year. Alabama is a very solid team, and Auburn might just be too outmatched when it comes to playing against Alabama.
