Milwaukee Bucks Vs. Philadelphia 76ers Betting Odds Breakdown

The Milwaukee Bucks will be facing off against the Philadelphia 76ers for the second time this season on November 18th. Milwaukee just barely took the first game, and they’ll look to win this game in a more convincing fashion.

Philadelphia is coming into this game as the favorite at -2.5, while the over/under is sitting at 218.5 points.

Milwaukee Bucks Preview

Milwaukee has looked like the best team in the league early on, and they will definitely be contenders when the playoffs come around.

The Bucks took the first game when they played each other earlier in the year, by the score of 90-88. For Milwaukee, the difference maker for them was that they were able to make enough three pointers. Even though their three point percentage wasn’t great in their first game, they were able to make eight more of them than Philadelphia, which ended up being the ultimate difference maker in that game. Their field goal percentage wasn’t great with it sitting just over 40 percent, but they have played much better since then, so expect them to look like a better team going into this game.

The defense that Milwaukee played in their first game against Philadelphia has to be praised, especially their perimeter defense, being able to hold the 76ers to making five three pointers throughout the game. It was a very solid defensive game for both of the teams, but three pointers were the biggest reason for why Milwaukee was able to get the win over them for the first time.

Philadelphia 76ers Preview

Philadelphia has had a rough start to the year, and they’ll be looking to turn it around against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The biggest thing that Philadelphia has to change in this game is their three point percentage, because it just wasn’t good enough in their first game against Milwaukee. Shooting just barely over 20 percent from three point range is not a recipe for success in a basketball game. Milwaukee has some great defense as well. So, Philadelphia just has to try to get open and knock down their shots, because they won’t come easy against Milwaukee.

Last year, Philadelphia was one of the best teams when it came to getting to the free throw line. They were third in free throws attempted last year, but early on in this season, they are sitting at 14th, which is still solid, but that stat is just not helping them as much as it did in years past, especially for a team that almost seems to rely on the free throw line for points. It was a big reason for their success last year, and it feels like that teams are starting to learn how not to let Philadelphia get to the line as much. Although their free throw numbers are down, there are still some nights where they can get a lot of points from there. Just look at the game they had against the Atlanta Hawks on November 12th, where they got to the line 31 times. Milwaukee was able to keep Philadelphia’s free throw attempts down in their first game, so we’ll see if they can do it again.

Winner Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks +2.5

Philadelphia has started to look like themselves a little bit, but the Bucks might just be too good for them. Milwaukee took the first game in their season series, and you should expect them to take game two as well.
