Milwaukee Bucks vs. Brooklyn Nets Betting Odds Breakdown

Milwaukee will be making a trip to Brooklyn to face off with the Nets on Tuesday.

Milwaukee is coming into this game as the favorite at -5 and the over/under is sitting at 226.5 points. Along with that, the moneyline is at -200 for Milwaukee and +170 for Brooklyn.

Milwaukee Bucks Preview

Milwaukee is coming into this game after a win over the Phoenix Suns, and they will be looking to keep it going against the Nets.

The Bucks are coming into this game on a 14 game win streak, and they have looked unstoppable in that span. They are 43-17 on the season, and that has them sitting at second in the eastern conference standings, only behind the Boston Celtics. Milwaukee has been dominant for most of the season, and they have had 20 games this season where they have won by 10 or more points. Along with that, they have had six games this season when they have won by 20 or more points. They have been scoring the ball pretty well, and it will be difficult for Brooklyn to keep up with them, who are 17th in the league for points scored per game.

What’s going to be very good for Milwaukee is that Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable for this game. Giannis has been battling some injuries between his wrist and quad recently, but for now, he is listed as probable  for their matchup against the Nets. Giannis has been playing at an MVP level this season, and his absence will make it a bit more difficult for them to get the win. Giannis has been a huge part of Milwaukee’s success this season, with him averaging 31 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists per game this season. It will be difficult to win without him, but they certainly have a chance.

Brooklyn Nets Preview

The Nets are having a bit of a rough time after the Kevin Durant trade, and they need to turn it around.

Throughout the season, the Nets have had a difficult time without Kevin Durant. And after trading Durant to the Suns earlier this month, they have to find ways to get wins without him. They haven’t been able to do that very well this year, as the Nets are 8-12 when Kevin Durant is not on the floor with them. And with his absence now, the Nets are now going to be much more limited on offense, as Durant was a key piece to that offense by averaging about 30 points per game.

Even though the Nets have lost some offensive firepower by trading away Kevin Durant, Mikal Bridges has been playing pretty well throughout the four games he has played for the Brooklyn Nets. Although it is a small sample size, Bridges has averaged 22 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game in the games he has played. He even had a 45 point game against the Miami Heat in the last game Brooklyn played before the all star break. He has been a nice pick-up for Brooklyn, and he should help them make this a good game against Milwaukee.

Winner Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -5

Going into this one, it does seem like the Milwaukee Bucks are a better team than the Brooklyn Nets. With how good the Bucks have been during this 14 game win streak, they should be able to get the Win over Brooklyn at home.
