Veteran righty Miles Mikolas is taking the mound and is coming off a losing effort against the New York Mets where he threw 4.2 innings and allowed seven runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts.  

The Philadelphia Phillies have been doing extremely well as they are second in the NL East with a 69-58 record. Left-hander Cristopher Sanchez is taking the mound and did not factor into the decision last time out against the Washington Nationals where he itched six innings and gave up three runs (two earned) on seven hits with zero walks and five strikeouts.
