Boston Celtics vs. Sacramento Kings Betting Odds Breakdown

The Boston Celtics will be finishing up a six game road trip in Sacramento for a game with the Kings.

Boston is coming into this game as the favorite at -4, and the over/under is sitting at 238.5 points. Along with that, the moneyline is sitting at -180 for Boston and +155 for Sacramento.

Boston Celtics Preview

The Celtics are coming into this game after dropping a game to the Utah Jazz, and that has them now sitting at 49-23 on the season.

Boston has had an odd time during this road trip, as they are 3-2 during this road trip. The two losses they took were to teams that they should have most definitely been able to beat in the Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets. The biggest problem that they had against Utah was that they got out-rebounded 56-40, which then led to them letting up 20 second chance points. On top of that, they also ended up blowing a 19-point lead, which made the loss even worse for them. They haven’t been playing at the same level they were earlier in the year, and it’s been pretty clear in these past few games.

After the Celtics got out-rebounded by a lot against the Utah Jazz, this game may not be much better for them in that category. With them having to defend a player like Domantas Sabonis down low, who is averaging close to 13 rebounds a game this season, it wouldn’t be surprising if they get dominated on the boards yet again. There’s also a possibility that Robert Williams is out in this game, so that doesn’t make it a whole lot better for the Celtics. But, we’ll just have to see how they do in this one.

Sacramento Kings Preview

The Kings are coming into this game at 44-27 after picking up a win against the Utah Jazz in their last game.

Going into this game, it seems like the Kings could not have caught the Celtics at a better time. The Kings have been on fire lately, as they have won eight of their last ten games, and they have also won three games in a row. It feels like they can finally be a team that is able to make some noise in the playoffs, and it should only get better for them. They are a young team that is continuing to develop, and they will definitely be an even better team than what they are now in the coming years.

The last time the Kings and Celtics matched up with each other, the Kings took a 122-104 loss in Boston. But this time, there is a very real possibility that the outcome in this one is much different than what happened the last time. The Kings’ offense has improved throughout the year, with them statistically being the best offense in the whole NBA, and they are also meeting up with the Boston Celtics, who are in a rough patch right now. But, they do need to clean up their defense, though, as their defensive efficiency has not been too great this season, with them being only 26th in the league in that category. That category can definitely be improved on, so we’ll see if they can make some improvements in this game.

Winner Prediction: Sacramento Kings +4

If the Celtics weren’t in the middle of a rough stretch right now, it wouldn’t be surprising if this game went the other way. And with Robert Williams possibly being out in this one, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Kings get a win over Boston.
