Washington Commanders Vs. New York Giants Betting Odds Breakdown

The New York Giants and Washington Commanders will be meeting up for the first time this season in week 13.

Washington is coming into this game as the favorite at -1.5, and the over/under is sitting at 40.5 points.

Washington Commanders Preview

Washington is sitting at last place in the NFC East, but they are still sitting at 7-5 on the season.

The NFC East looks like it’s the most competitive division this season, and this should be a good division matchup between the Commanders and the Giants. Washington has been pretty solid this season, and they are even riding a three game win streak going into this game. They even took down the Philadelphia Eagles, who were undefeated at that point in the season. They were really able to slow down Philadelphia’s offense, and they could have an even better chance to do that against New York.

The main player Washington has to worry about is Saquon Barkley. And luckily for Washington, Barkley has had a bit of a tough stretch over the past four weeks, with him only getting over 50 yards on two occasions, and one of those games he only had 53 yards. He’s certainly been struggling, and he’s a big piece of New York’s offense, so if Washington can keep him under control, they are going to have a great chance to win.

New York Giants Preview

For the Giants, they are starting to falter a little bit as the season goes on.

After a 7-2 start, the Giants have stumbled a little bit and they are now sitting at 7-4 on the season. This could be showing us that they just aren’t as good as we thought they were yet, but the performance of Saquon Barkley can really be a make or break for them. If he doesn’t play well, it’s not going to be easy for them to win, and then they have a much better chance to win if he does play well. But either way, it feels like the Giants just aren’t as good as we thought they were.

The one thing that New York has an advantage in is that their players will be more rested than what the Commanders will be. They didn’t have an off-week last week, but they did have a Thursday night game, which will give them just a few more days to rest up before this Sunday afternoon game against the Commanders. Other than that, it feels like this is a game where the Commanders have most of the advantages.

Winner Prediction: Washington Commanders -1.5

This game could end up being close, but Saquon Barkley will have to end the cold streak that he’s been in for the past few weeks. Either way, you should expect the Washington Commanders to get the win over the Giants in New York.
