Michigan Vs. Ohio State Betting Odds Breakdown

In one of the best rivalries in all of college football, Michigan will be meeting up with Ohio State in week 13.

Ohio State is coming into this game as the favorite at -9, while the over/under is sitting at 57.5 total points scored.

Ohio State Preview

Ohio State is coming into this game undefeated, and they’re going to try to take down their rival.

Throughout their entire season, Ohio State has been pretty dominant over just about every team they’ve faced. Their closest game was against Notre Dame, in which they still won by 11 points. But now, they’re going to have their toughest matchup of the year against Michigan. Ohio State got the win over Maryland their last time out, and they played very well once again. Especially Dallan Hayden, who had 146 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. He played very well, and it would be great for Ohio State if he can play that well against Michigan.

Going into this game, Ohio State’s defense has to be careful. Michigan’s offense isn’t the best, but they do have the capability to be very good at times. But after the performance Michigan had against Illinois last week, Ohio State might be feeling good about themselves. Michigan just barely got the win over Illinois, and Ohio State is definitely hoping that Michigan’s performance will carry over.

Michigan Preview

Going into this game, Michigan has a lot of things to clean up.

Michigan played poorly against Illinois, and they can’t do that against Ohio State. Against Illinois, Michigan barely won, and the only touchdown they were able to get was a Blake Corum rushing touchdown. Other than that touchdown, everyone else on offense did not contribute very much. In fact, the only real reason they won was because of their defense, which happens to be one of the best in all of college football.

Michigan’s defense was able to stop Illinois when the team really needed it. Michigan was down by seven going into the fourth quarter, and their defense was what gave Michigan the opportunity to take the lead late in the game. It was a difficult game all around for them, and they need to clean it up before this game, because Ohio State will not let many mistakes slide.

Winner Prediction: Ohio State -9

That game against Illinois feels very discouraging for Michigan going into this game. However, Michigan could still make this game close. Both of these teams are very solid, but Ohio State should be able to get the win over Michigan at home.
