The Atlanta Braves have been doing extremely well as they are leading the entire MLB with a 76-42 record. Young righty Bryce Elder toes the slab here and lost last time out as he pitched five innings and gave up five runs on six hits with one hit by pitch, two walks and five strikeouts.

Bryce Elder has been pitching well as he is 8-4 with a 3.64 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP while throwing 131 innings. He has to work on getting to strike three more often as he has 97 strikeouts in 131 innings pitched. This is Elder’s first time facing the Yankees so it will be interesting to see how he does here.

The Braves were able to get to the bullpen early in the game as they were able to have the Yankees throw 5.2 innings out of theirs last night. This Braves team is crushing it on all cylinders as they are averaging 8.86 runs in their last seven games. All in all, go with the Atlanta Braves to cover the spread at home here.
