The Jaguars are coming off a huge upset win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15. They were down by 17 points at the half and won with a Pick 6 off Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in overtime.
They are riding a two-game winning streak into New York and have ascended in the NFL Power Rankings. They sit at 11th in Week 16 up six spots from 17th in Week 15. Doug Pederson has his young team performing at a high level.
New York Jets
The Jets 2022 season has been a long and drawn-out saga of quarterback twists and turns. As the team finally started to experience consistency and momentum with Mike White, who is the coaches and players’ favorite, White suffered a rib fracture that caused him to miss Week 15. He is not cleared to play in Week 16 either so Zach Wilson will be under center.
Wilson has been 5-3 as the Jets starter. He missed open receivers and had a costly third quarter interception in the loss to Detroit in Week 15.
The Jets are down two places from their 12th position in the Week 15 NFL Power Rankings to 14th.
