NFC PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS
Part 5 of our 11 Part Series and today we focus on the NFC.
So, our predictions for division winners are New York +750 (East), Tampa Bay -400 (South), Green Bay -225 (North) and the LA Rams -130 (South)
Our wildcard predictions are as follows:
We like the SF 49ers to make the playoffs at -210
We like the Minnesota Vikings to make the playoffs at -130
We like the Philadelphia Eagles to make the playoffs at -200
We like the New Orleans Saints to make the playoffs at +110
You’ll notice that we do not have the Dallas Cowboys here and we are sure we will get a ton of emails about that, but we just are not sold on them as a team and if we go with a surprise team in the NY Giants (due to value), we have to leave someone out and that someone is Dallas.
We aren’t doing seedings, but we feel the 7 teams listed above will represent the NFC in the playoffs and the team that will come out is the:
GREEN BAY PACKERS +400 TO WIN THE CONFERENCE
Green Bay has won 13 games the last 3 seasons and they just could not get over the hump in the playoffs. We feel this is the year they get to the big game. Everyone is focusing on the loss of Davante Adams and that will surely be something to deal with, but the fact of the matter is this. They still have Aaron Rodgers, and their defense is better this year than in the prior 3 years.
Tampa Bay and the Rams will be formidable but the team that comes out of the NFC this year will be the Green Bay Packers.
