NFL Offensive Rookie of The Year Odds & Breakdown

The Offensive Rookie of the Year is going to be an award that is difficult to predict this season. With three quarterbacks and a top-10 running back with the top odds, it will definitely be a tough one to predict. Let’s look at the top contenders going into the season for the award and discuss what chances they have to win.

Bijan Robinson (+275)

The Atlanta Falcons seem to be very happy to land running back Bijan Robinson on their team. The only issue is that they have two talented running backs already with Cordarelle Patterson and Tyler Allgeier already. With the offense having wide receiver Drake London and tight end Kyle Pitts, there is not a huge target share either. I don’t see him winning the award over a quarterback so avoid him at this price.

Bryce Young (+500)

Here is something you can do, if you do not like Bijan Robinson and think one of the quarterbacks will win just bet all three and you will make profit if one hits. Discussing Bryce Young, the NFC South is winnable and there is some talent with wide receiver DJ Chark, Adam Theilen and rookie Jonathan Mingo. This team can win some games in a winnable division and if Young can lead this team to the playoffs, it will be tough for him not to win this award.

Anthony Richardson (+600)

Anthony Richardson becomes a tougher bet if running back Jonathan Taylor is traded before the season so keep that in mind. He has shown the ability to make plays with his arm and legs in the preseason already but needs to improve his passing a lot. Through two preseason games, he is just 13-of-29 (44.8 completion percentage) for 145 yards with an interception. He has weapons like Michael Pittman Jr out wide during the year but he needs some development still to be a serious threat.

CJ Stroud (+850)

CJ Stroud showed the ability to throw the ball in Ohio State and the Texans are rebuilding right now. They have a good offensive line and some good offensive weapons with Nico Collins, Robert Woods, John Metchie III, Dalton Shultz and Dameon Pierce. This team can surprise people and have no issues going for wins this season in coach DeMeco Ryans’ first season. It will be interesting to see if he can surprise people here.
