San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers did very well offensively as they were able to finish with 30 points on 408 total yards. Brock Purdy continued to dominate as he finished 19-of-29 for 220 yards and a pair of touchdowns to continue to remain undefeated and throwing for multiple passing touchdowns in every game he started and finished. Running back Christian McCaffrey dominated on the ground with 22 carries for 152 yards and a rushing touchdown while wide receiver Brandon Aiyujk had eight catches for 129 yards and both receiving touchdowns. This dominant players have shown to do extremely well. This team is stacked offensively and should be able to do extremely well throughout the season.

This 49ers defense continues to be scary to face as they gave up seven points on 239 total yards. The Steelers were just 5-of-15 on third down and 1-of-3 on fourth down attempts. They shut down the running game as Pittsburgh ran for 41 total rushing yards as a whole. This defense dominated as they recorded five sacks and nine quarterback hits. Defensive end Drake Jackson finished with three sacks and should continue to dominate with the incredible talent on the field. They also had a pair of interceptions so they can take advantage of a little sliver of opening throughout the game. 

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams had a great game as they were able to record 30 points on 426 total yards in the opening game. Running back Kyren Williams dominated as he finished with 15 rushes for 52 yards (3.5 yards per carry) with a pair of rushing touchdowns. Matt Stafford did very well as he was 24-of-38 with 334 passing yards. As a whole, they went 11-of-17 on third down and converted their singular fourth down attempt. The offensive line dominated as Stafford did not get sacked the entire game as well. This offense is clicking and this will be a great test. 

The Rams defense has shown to step up a bit as they allowed 13 points on just 180 total yards of offense. They were able to hold the Seahawks to 2-of-9 on third down opportunities and less than 100 passing yards. Los Angeles forced two sacks and seven quarterback hits throughout the game as well and should do well as they only have safety Jason Taylor II on the injury report for the defensive side of the field.
